MLM Success - Your Check Will Grow When You Grow

I want to make a fortune and I want to make it now.That's the attitude of the majority of people that start in MLM or network marketing. People that have been broke all of their lives or at the very least, just getting by, expect to be rich in no time when they start an MLM business.Although MLM has literally changed the lives of so many people around the world, the real reason why people become successful is so simple. Two words. Personal growth.Most of the time you will not become successful in MLM if you don't discover and fully embrace personal growth. Don't get me wrong you may experience some success, you may even have tremendous success, but it will only be a fraction of what you could gain if you were serious about becoming more than you are today!We have a member of our team who has been successful, but his success reached a peak and now his income has fallen. Years ago it was obvious that this was coming but he wouldn't listen. He had begun to believe that he was a great leader when all he really cared about was himself, a sad fact that others began to see as well.He didn't need to grow or learn from anybody because he knew it all. Because he was blessed with an outgoing personality and charisma he was able to become successful, but it was a house of cards that would not last. If only he would have been as committed to personal growth as he was to showing off, this never would have happened.Ego. That little word has caused so much damage in so many lives, especially in MLM. If you are new to MLM we hope that you will hear these words, your check will grow when you grow. We would never have experienced long term MLM success if we hadn't decided to listen and learn from other more successful people. So, what's the best course of action if you really want to experience MLM success?Read the best success books you can get your hands on. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill is still one of the best books to get you to start thinking differently. You are no longer an employee, you are now an entrepreneur, and entrepreneurs think differently than employees.Stop listening to the radio and fill your mind with the vast storehouse of knowledge from Joyce Meyer, Jim Rohn, Les Brown and others. Make a decision to learn more so you can earn more. Find at least one or two people that will mentor you and hold you accountable so that if you start to believe that you are infallible they will straighten you out.
Although we are successful beyond our wildest dreams we still make mistakes and you will too. Nobody expects you to be perfect but if you are ever going to become really successful in MLM you will have to engage in a deliberate process to become more than what you are today.

The Decision Making Process

Every organization needs a manager that is able to make the right choices because there is a very thin line between success and failure. Every decision counts and every time a manager makes the right decision, all levels of the organization are affected and profitability will increase. So how can a manager make effective decisions that will enhance the overall profitability of the company? There are seven steps a manager needs to be aware of.The first step is to identify the cause of the problem. For example, a manager needs to know the reason why the sales are decreasing. After the problem has been identified, it is time to identify the decision criteria. This means that the problem is because of lack of computers, the manager needs to know the different aspects of what to look for in a computer. Some of the considerations he can look into include the price, the warranty, the screen size and the reliability of the computer. Meanwhile, the second step in decision making is allocating weight to the considerations found in step one. So if the criteria include price, warranty, screen size and reliability, the manager should know which among these aspects is the most important. For example, if the most important criteria is price then the manager needs to give it a score of 10 and then give the appropriate score to the remaining criteria to determine what kind of computer to buy. Then the third step is developing the alternatives. In this step, the manager find out the different brands that is available in the market to come to the best decision for the organization. The fourth step is the analysis of the alternatives. Basically, a manager needs to look at the features that can be found in each of these brands. The fifth step then is the selecting from the alternatives. After looking at the different features, the manager can now select the best computer model that will suit the needs of the organization. The sixth step in the decision making process is the implementation of the alternative. The concept behind this step is conveying the decision to all members of the organization that are affected by the decision. In the case of our example, the manager should inform the members that they will be using computers and that training will be provided if necessary. This leads us to the last step in the decision making process which is to evaluate the effectiveness of the decision. The manager needs to know if the organization is actually better off after the computers had been introduced and if the problem in step one still exist, then analyzing what went wrong in this endeavor is important to be able to make more effective decisions in the future.

Did you know the most important asset you have in your business is your platform? It's true. You may be asking what your "platform" is? Well, it's like your personal portfolio for your business. And, that, my friend is why you're in business, isn't it? This isn't about being "famous"; it's about being well known and respected in your field of expertise. I call this underground celebrity. You know, the kind where nobody "out there" knows who you are, but when you're around "your people" you feel like a celebrity.The good news is there are a few simple things you can do to build your platform. Here are my top three ways to get started today: 1. Publish an email newsletter.Every business owner needs to be growing their list of potential clients and customers. And, the quickest and most inexpensive way to do this is publishing an email newsletter. It can be easy to get started by simply emailing your newsletter to a few friends and family members who give you permission to do so. (Please get their permission, or it's considered illegal SP^AM.)To start, decide how often you're going to publish your newsletter and stick to that schedule, whether you send it to one person or thousands of people. Most Internet marketers suggest a frequency of at least twice per month.
Then, decide what content you'll put in your newsletter. You could include a personal greeting, article, tip, calendar of your events, recommended resources, or anything else that will serve your audience and be of Value.
